Lotus of the Heart

This is an offering that I created for the birds today.  

18' in diameter and hand drawn.

It's an incredible experience to create sacred geometry 

larger than your self, because you are contained within it's 

resonance during the entire process.

I love rendering this 7 petal lotus.  

It's one continuous line and a magnificent meditation.

Traditionally called the Hidraya Kamalam, it translates as

"Lotus of the Heart". 

There were 12 species of birds singing around me while 

I was on the pavement laying down the 50 lbs of bird seed.

Eager to photograph the birds enjoying their buffet, I went 

inside to await their arrival.  The birds watched the seed buffet

from the trees, but appeared to not want to disturb it.
