Xocoatl'a

Years ago I spent much time researching the history of chocolate and learning how to

make traditional Meso American drinking elixirs.  This mandala is inspired by the

Aztec elixir "xocoatl", the magical and intoxicating drink of chocolate infused

with spices and roses ~ a true aphrodisiac.
